BRICKIMAGING ANNOUNCES EXPANSION INTO THE GRAND CANYON STATE

Masonry Staining Firm to Initially Offer Services in Greater Phoenix

DENVER, Jan. 25, 2023 – BrickImaging®, headquartered in Denver and the first masonry staining firm in North America, announced it is expanding into Arizona. The 47-year-old company will now offer professional brick staining services for commercial properties in metropolitan Phoenix. BrickImaging will not provide residential service in the state.

BrickImaging’s proprietary Stayntech® masonry stains have been modernizing and revitalizing apartment complexes, hospitals, government buildings, shopping centers, warehouses, and much more since the company’s founding in 1976. Why brick staining? Painting masonry is typically not a good idea as it rarely looks natural and will introduce the need for continued maintenance. Paint creates an impenetrable surface membrane that coats exterior masonry and prohibits moisture, vapors, and humidity from escaping—typically resulting in the paint blistering and peeling within just a few years. While paint certainly changes the color of masonry, many compromises are made in terms of structural integrity, aesthetic appeal, and durability.

“Expanding into an additional state is a significant milestone for BrickImaging,” said BrickImaging President Steve Homolka. “While Arizona does not have as many brick structures as other regions around the country, we feel there will be ample demand for our masonry staining services in the state. We launched the brick staining industry in 1976 and are eager to begin making a substantial presence in the greater Phoenix area.”

Stayntech breathable brick stains are specially formulated for brick, block, stone, and mortar and are absorbed by masonry, resulting in a permanent finish that looks natural, has varying surface textures, and will never bubble, chip, or peel like paint. Stayntech brick stains have undergone extensive accelerated testing and are proven to be exceptionally durable, come in a wide variety of colors, with custom colors available upon request for an additional fee, and are backed by a 15-year warranty.

BrickImaging takes careful precautions when applying and sealing each project to ensure a long-lasting finish. A breathable top-coat matte sealer is the last step in the brick staining process and provides protection against UV damage, environmental conditions, and spalling. Over time, the only noticeable color changes will be those resulting from natural environmental conditions to which the structure is subjected.
